Assistant Professor

As an Assistant Professor in Filmmaking at Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science, I teach core filmmaking subjects, mentor creative student projects, and lead initiatives like the Photography Club and Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) College Club. I also contribute to academic administration as the Department Exam Committee Head and NAAC/IQAC Coordinator, ensuring excellence in education and fostering creativity among students.

2021 - 2022

Assistant Professor

As an Assistant Professor in Filmmaking at VIT, I taught core subjects in filmmaking, mentored students on creative projects, and contributed to academic administration as a NAAC Design Team Member. I also played a key role in organizing events like the Design Degree Show (Aakam 2022) and designing newsletters, fostering creativity and innovation within the School of Design.

2018 - 2021

Assistant Professor

As an Assistant Professor in Filmmaking at Kumaraguru College, I taught filmmaking courses, coordinated the Photography Club, and guided student projects that received recognition for their creativity. I also contributed to academic administration as a member of the IQAC and Exam Committee, helping maintain high educational standards and promoting a dynamic learning environment.

As a mentor and Assistant Professor in Filmmaking at iNurture and KL University, I guided students in the BFA Filmmaking and VFX program, fostering their creative and technical skills. Assistant Professor / HOD

As Head of the Department and Assistant Professor of Visual Communication at Andhra Loyola College, I led the department's academic and administrative activities. I taught filmmaking and media studies, mentored creative student projects, and chaired the Board of Studies. Additionally, I coordinated NAAC accreditation efforts and organized workshops, festivals, and industry-oriented events to enrich student learning and professional growth.

As a Lecturer in Filmmaking and Photography at Elements Academy of Visual Arts, I taught core concepts of visual storytelling and practical techniques in filmmaking and photography. I worked closely with students to develop their creative portfolios and prepared them for careers in the media and creative industries.

Segment Director

As a Segment Director at Doordarshan Saptagiri, I directed the daily program Navya, showcasing engaging content for diverse audiences. My role involved planning, scripting, and overseeing production to ensure high-quality broadcasts that informed and entertained viewers.

Program Producer

As a Program Director at TV9 Telugu, I directed the weekly show What’s Cooking?, managing its concept, scripting, and production. My role involved creating engaging content that appealed to a wide audience, ensuring the show maintained its quality and viewership.

As a Visualizer at Frootage Ad Agency, I was responsible for creating innovative visual content for advertisements and campaigns. I completed my PhD in Film Studies from Bharathiar University, focusing on the topic "A Study on the Portrayal of Women in South Indian Biopic Films." My research critically examines the representation of women in biographical cinema, exploring themes of gender, identity, and cultural narratives. By analyzing these portrayals, I aimed to shed light on how cinema shapes societal perceptions and contributes to the discourse on gender equity in storytelling.

I earned my MJMC from Acharya Nagarjuna University, where I gained in-depth knowledge of media studies, journalism, and communication practices.
